Jezebel Vulva Pendant

Her Sin: Having an alternate religion and liking to look freaking fabulous.

A beautiful Vagina pendant pale shimmering greens and pinks, detailed with iridescent highlights and accented with a matching jeweled connecting piece.

Jezebel went to the temple of Baal. Being a Phoenician queen has its perks so she allowed the temples of her belief system to exist in Israel. She converts her husband, king of Israel, to the religion that she truly believes in - probably for the same reason anyone converts: they are worried about your eternal soul. Her and her husband then attempted to save the souls of their people by conversion. Well, like any religion in that time period this meant that several prophets of the alternate religion were killed - but as always in the mind of Jezebel and her husband it was for the good of the people.

So, Elijah out of Christian concern (ironically doing the same thing she was trying to do, save the souls of the people he loved) incited a mass slaughter of Baal’s prophets, kills one of her son and has her thrown out of a window so that she is killed and her body eaten by dogs.

Seems like overkill, and slightly ironic, but it doesn’t stop there. Before being pushed out of the window to her death Jezebel puts on her finest clothes and jewels, hoping to die with some dignity. Instead of history leaving that fact as is, it uses her changing into her finery as proof that she was a prostitute, though we don’t really hear that allegation anywhere in the story but at the end.

This Vagina pendant is hung on a 14″ silk ribbon that adjusts up to 16.5″.
The pendant on this necklace measures 1.6″ x 1.2″.
Never made with a mold. Each Vulva pendant is the hand-sculpted clay original. We prefer clay to resin for its fleshy look and texture.

♥VulvaLoveLovely: Often imitated, never replicated and occasionally lubricated♥
