Chinese Zodiac, Year of the Rabbit: Vagina Necklace
Of all of the members of the Chinese zodiac the Rabbit is considered the most compassionate.
Is it any wonder that she’s really a Vulva?
The rabbit symbolizes compassion and sincerity- those born in the year of the rabbit represent peace. She is the happiest animal of the zodiac. Kind and sweet she is always surrounded by her loved ones. This rabbit inspired Vulva art piece is sculpted in a shimmering pearl with iridescent pink detailint.
She’s the perfect accent for the kind, joyful and honest soul: one born in the year of the Rabbit or simply one with a selfless and beautiful soul.
• 21″ antique brass chain
• Pendant measures 1.5″ x 1″
• Crowned with an antique brass Chinese coin
• The back of the necklace is accented with a beautiful sounding Chinese bell
• Magnetic Backing to anchor pendant provides a way to display necklace when not wearing- can safely be displayed on 1″ wide length of metal (perfect for bathroom mirrors)
Our Jewelry pieces are never made with a mold. Each Vulva pendant is the hand-sculpted clay original. We prefer clay to resin for its fleshy look and texture. This piece is coated in a protective satin glaze and backed with two hand applied layers of resin.
Because women don’t normally have a visual reference for what is normal ‘down there’. We can’t even see what we have! When we do have a visual reference it generally comes from porn in which women are chosen based on the shape of their Vulvas and are bleached, dyed, shaved and surgically altered. Porn Vulvas are like Chimeras, they do not exist in the natural world.
We use real models to show women that no matter the shape every woman is beautiful. We use real models to show women there is no standard Vulva: they are all different and perfect as is. Bleaching is NOT required.
